The King of the Emperor is a novel that tells the story of a young teenager who throughout his early life was forced to endure the difficulties of growing up in a large and very poor family. Knowing that only he could remedy the misery in his life, this young boy chose to follow the road to his destiny away from home and thousands of kilometres in to a small logging town. In his new surrounding this boy is forced to summon his courage and determination in order to survive the hostility and dangers of his new employment as a logger.

As the story progresses you come to see how the strength and resolve of this boy forces him to deal with the inner struggles in his mind and thus allows him to grow and flourish in to a man. This allows him to follow and accomplish his dreams that guide him towards an amazing and surprising adventure, from the logging, leading to building and captaining his own sail ship. Through his numerous sailing trips and journeys all over the world he discovers the princess that he has been looking for and soon unfolds into an intense love story. The story also follows the exciting sea adventure of this young man who takes on dangerous challenges in the world of tall ship open sea racing. This book will unleash the curiosity and deepest emotions of all its readers leaving them wanting more with every page.

Thank You Letter From Denis Ouellet To His Friends

The King of the Emperor started off much like many of the stories that I have created in the past. Through extended mental deliberation and imagination, a story unfolded gradually in my mind until it became a full-length narrative. I would often tell my stories to friends and family as a way to entertain them and it was not until the reaction I received from the manager of my hotel in Fort Nelson Michael Rottboll that I realized how much people enjoyed this story. Michael pleaded with me to start putting this story onto paper and I would like to thank him for giving me the confidence and the drive to start writing. I would also like to thank Jonathan Levesque, my stepson, and my friend Ed Bulley for their amity and encouragement throughout the beginning of my career as a writer.

I would like to thank my eldest son Jonathan who has always driven me onward. You have always had faith in me and after listening to my story you were one of my greatest inspirations. The four of you are the reason I started writing and managed to finish this beautiful story, and for that I cannot thank you enough.

I would also like to thank my beautiful daughter Corinda and son Matthew who I love so much and have also been a great source of inspiration.

The person I have to thank the most for helping me finish this story is my Nicaraguan assistant, Blanca Jose Hernandez.
